Dinkdar LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Dinkdar mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

1. Information We Collect
1.1 Personal Information
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when creating an account or using the App:
- Account Information: Email address, name (if provided), and password (encrypted)
- Authentication Data: If you sign in via Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from those services
- Profile Information: Any information you choose to add to your user profile
1.2 Location Information
To provide our core service of finding nearby pickleball courts, we collect and process:
- Precise Location Data: GPS coordinates when you use the court finder feature
- Location Permissions: We only access your location when you actively use the App (not in the background)
- Purpose: To calculate distances to courts, show nearby courts, and enable location-based features
You can deny location access, but the App's core functionality will be limited.
1.3 Usage Information
We automatically collect certain information when you use the App:
- Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers
- App Usage Data: Features used, courts viewed, check-ins submitted, ATP activations
- Performance Data: Crash reports, error logs, app performance metrics
- WebSocket Activity: Real-time connection data for live court updates
1.4 User-Generated Content
- Check-ins: Court activity reports you submit
- ATP (Asking to Play) Requests: Your requests to find players at specific courts
- Saved Courts: Courts you mark as favorites
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
2.1 To Provide and Maintain the App
- Display nearby pickleball courts based on your location
- Calculate real-time court activity levels
- Enable check-ins and ATP features
- Save your favorite courts and preferences
- Authenticate your account and maintain login sessions

- Fix bugs and optimize performance
- Develop new features based on user behavior
- Test new functionality and A/B experiments
2.3 To Communicate With You
- Send service-related notifications (e.g., ATP responses)

2.4 For Legal and Security Purposes
- Comply with legal obligations and law enforcement requests

3. Information Sharing and Disclosure

3.1 With Other Users
- Check-ins: Check-in reports are shared anonymously with other users to show court activity
- ATP Requests: Your ATP requests are visible to users viewing the same court
- Anonymous by Design: We do not publicly display your name or email to other users
3.2 With Service Providers
We use third-party services to operate the App. These providers have access to your information only to perform tasks on our behalf:
- Authentication: Google OAuth, Apple Sign-In (for account authentication)
- Payment Processing: RevenueCat (for subscription management and in-app purchases)
- Advertising: Google AdMob (for serving ads to free-tier users)
- Error Tracking: Sentry (for crash reporting and error monitoring)
- Cloud Hosting: Our backend API and database hosting providers
3.3 For Legal Reasons
We may disclose your information if required by law or if we believe such action is necessary to:

- Enforce our Terms of Service

- Check-ins & ATP Requests: Retained for 90 days for activity calculations
- Usage Logs: Retained for 12 months for analytics and debugging
- Legal Compliance: Some data may be retained longer if required by law

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you

- Update or correct inaccurate information

- Deletion can be requested via the in-app settings or by emailing us

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information:
